Mrs. Gilmore, Principal

I am honored to serve as the principal of Pinewood Elementary, where students, staff, and families work together to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. At Pinewood, we focus on academic growth, student well-being, and a strong sense of community, ensuring every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.  

I grew up in Winona, Minnesota, in a family of educators, which inspired my passion for teaching and leadership. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth, my master’s from St. Cloud State University, and my Ed.S from Concordia University, St. Paul. Before coming to Pinewood three years ago, I served as a principal in the St. Francis School District, held various roles in St. Cloud Schools, and taught as an adjunct instructor at St. Cloud State and Southwest State University.  

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Steve, and our two adult children, Ryan and Grace.  

I believe in creating a welcoming, collaborative, and dynamic school culture where students and staff thrive and families feel connected. I look forward to partnering with you to make this a great year!
